Young Brazilian footballer Oscar shocked when he didn’t find his name in the team squad. It is now official that Oscar will not play Copa America football competition as the player have serious injury. His injury is confirmed by the medical staff of Premier League. When Brazilian coach Dunga was asked about his absence in the list, he said
He had an injury in his last training session with Chelsea. We talked to Mourinho and with the Chelsea doctors. His period of recovery will be somewhat prolonged, so he will not be in the best condition. We think he will be better prepared for the World Cup qualifiers, which begin soon after the Copa America.
Oscar claimed on Instagram that injury had ended his hopes of representing his country in the upcoming big football event. He mentioned on Instagram that “I am very sad that I can not defend my country in the Copa America because of this injury. I’ll be cheering for my teammates to bring this title for us! Thank you all for caring and for incoming messages. I’ll be back!”
But the coach appointed former Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro as midfielder in his team squad. He will join Liverpool’s Coutinho and Manchester City’s Fernandinho and company.
The team will be guided by Barcelona superstar Neymar. Under his captaincy, Brazil never lost any game in international games. So far in the history of Copa America football competition, Brazil have won it eighth time and will be looking to add ninth trophy this year.
After sack of Scolari, Coutinho has worked his way into Dunga’s plans, featuring in each of his squads and making five appearances for Brazil football team.
So this is the team squad of Brazil for the Copa America 2015 football tournament. Brazil will play group stage games against Venezuela, Peru and Colombia. Their first group stage game is against Peru which will be played on 14th June at Estadio Municipal German Becker.
