The Black Cats have five defeats and a draw so far this season and the team is currently undergoing three-game losing streak. With their recent problems, Sunderland are now at the rock bottom of the English Premier League table with fellow winless side Stoke City just a point above them in the bottom three relegation zone. On the other hand, West Bromwich Albion earned a second consecutive unbeaten performance settling for a 1-1 away stalemate with Stoke City also last Saturday. After the first half ended in 0-0, Stoke midfielder Joe Allen netted the opener at the 73rd minute, but Venezuelan forward Salomon Rondon was able to equal the score in stoppage time to snatch the draw for head coach Tony Pulis’ side. The Baggies are now at 10th place in the overall standings as they are tied on points with Southampton. As regards injury news, the Baggies are be hoping that Brendan Galloway and striker Saido Berahino will recover from a viral infection.
