Neymar sued Barcelona for £26m bonuses he hasn’t received

The Brazilian claims that the club owes him about £26m as a renewal bonus after signing a contract back in 2016. As a result, he has launched a lawsuit against his former club.

However, Catalans filed their own claim against Brazilian. The Barca’s president Josep Bartomeu believes they didn’t have to pay Neymar the renewal premium because of his decision to leave the club. Also, Barcelona are insisting the terms of the contract was breached by Neymar, who earlier agreed to an extension to 2021.

There are plenty of rumors about Neymar leaving to Real Madrid, but the 25 years-old claims he is happy in the club. Another unpleasant issue for Brazilian is his disrespectful behavior. He lent a hand to Hamari Traore during game vs Rennais, who has fallen on the grass but then suddenly pulled it away.

It seems Neymar just can’t resist scandals, which is certainly reflected in his reputation.
