Ronaldo scores on Juventus debut

Eight minutes was all it took superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to open his Juventus account in a friendly game

Cristiano Ronaldo started his Juventus career in a brilliant style as he netted in the opening eight minutes of his first game.

The former Real Madrid star was finally introduced to Juventus fans in Sunday’s friendly against the club’s youth team after he came back from the extended leave he got after the 2018 World Cup.

The match is a traditional curtain-raiser where potential first teamers are given the chance to prove themselves against Juve’s youngsters.

And Cristiano Ronaldo was undoubtedly sharp after his break as he opened the scoring for the first team just eight minutes into the game.

He latched on to Federico Bernadeschi’s long pass and found himself in acres of space in front of goal as he broke the youth team’s offside trap.

He then blasted the ball into the roof of the net.

Ronaldo alongside Paulo Dybala and Douglas Costa formed a dangerous trident that will produce a lot of goals this season.
