The Colombian star player Radamel Falcao is looking unfit for the FIFA World Cup 2014 & there are strong confirmations about his absence in summer world cup which is beggining from 12th of June. Falcao need more time to recover from injury, but the days left for kick off are not sufficient to make speedy recovery.
Radamel Falcao Misses 2014 FIFA World Cup
Falcaos was listed on Columbia team for 23 man squad for this world, but he lost race against time in order to be for the biggest football competition. When Columbia travel to Brazil for World Cup, they will be without the services of their top marksman. Some tweets on twitter made it clear. Robin Bairner tweeted that “#Falcao has been left out of the Colombia squad for the World Cup.”

Colombia NationalFootball team qualified as winner in quaification games. The Colombians will play first match against Greece. recently, Greece has played a draw match against Portgal in which Ronaldo & Pepe were not present. Team coach Jose Pekerman has enough time tomanage his team without Radamel Falcao. Jose is now looking to replace him but it will be very tough task for him to replace a player like Falcao.
There will be more pressure on TeoGutierrez, who became a solid stiker partner for Falcao. His ability to drop deeper in the attack allowed Falcao to remain more of a poacher, which suits his skill set. Both players have accomplished goal scoring records in clubs for which they are currently playing.
With strong team squad even without Falcao, Columbia should be able to advance out of the group at the World Cup. Without Falcao, hope for next round qualification is still alive, but Jose have to manage his team with new attacking & defensive strategies. To qualify for the round of 16, Columbia have to win at least of 2 games out of 3. Can jose find a new player who can replace Radamel Falcao in 2014 FIFA World Cup?
