Daniel Sturridge is the striker of Liverpool and recently he has been charged by allegedly breaches the betting rules. The charge is imposed on him by the Football Association in January this year.
It is said that the player had breached a rule that is related to betting on football. The other rule that he had broken is one that over providing football related information which has been getting because of his position and the information is not available in public.
A spokesman of Liverpool on this said Sturridge, 29, had fully co-operated all “through the process and maintained that he has not involved in gambled on football”. To respond to the charges imposed in him, the England international had the time till Tuesday, 20 November. The spokesman of Liverpool added: “Any problem of this nature, we will let the process to be executed in its entirety. We will cooperate with authorities in conducting a fair investigation of details; we will not make any comment before the investigation gets over.”
