Foxes had a rough start in the Premier League. They have won only once in eight games in the season. And after the 1-1 draw against West Brom club owners decided to part with Shakespeare less than 24 hours.

Vice Chairman of Leicester said: “Craig was a great servant to the squad. He showed absolute dedication to his job and his contribution he made in the most successful period of Leicester is considerable”.

“However, the Boards feels that we need changes to keep the club moving forward. Craig will remain a very popular and respected figure in Leicester City. I am sure he will be welcomed back at King Power Stadium in future as a friend of the club”, added Aiyawatt.
