For the second time, Brazilian legend Ronaldinho has arrived in India. The former Barcelona and Brazil National Football Team player had a warm welcome at the Airport. He visits India for being named as the brand ambassador of the Sait Nagjee Football Tournament that is being revived after a gap of 21 years. Even though the tournament is to begin on February 5 here.

He is the guest of honour of the even, will be in Kerala for two days. The former World Cup and Champions League winner landed in Kozhikode in the early hours of Sunday. A day earlier, the former Ballon D’or winner had expressed his delight at being part of the event, which is being supported by Football for Peace Global, a UK based charitable trust. This is the second time the former Barcelona star is travelling to this country, after his appearance in Pune a few years ago. I am supporting the work carried by Football for Peace Global, and am proud today to be the guest of honour of Nagjee International Club Football Tournament 2016, and becoming a Footballer for Peace.”
