Bayern Munich Vs SC Freiburg German Bundesliga Live Online Commentary

Carlo Ancelotti’s tutored side Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga title for a record fifth straight season – and overall 26th time for the club – following a convincing 6-0 victory in Wolfsburg a few weeks back. With knock-outs from the UEFA Champions League and the DFB Pokal semi-final over the past month, Bayern are now all but done for the season. Bayern Munich have continued to field a full strength team since clinching the title and last weekend’s thrilling 5-4 win away from home to surprise side RB Leipzig has shown that the Bavarians are still looking to assert their dominance, while having some fun, in their remaining matches.

Meanwhile, SC Freiburg having 48 points to their name, have not only secured themselves another season in the German Bundesliga, but their current position (6th) is similar to that of their Bundesliga campaign four years ago, when the South Germans finished fifth and qualified for the UEFA Europa League. Freiburg were only able to settle for a 1-1 draw at home to relegation strugglers FC Ingolstadt last weekend, so head coach Christian Streich’s side may have to rely on results elsewhere to go in their favour for his team to make the cut for European football next season.
