Boro’s head coach Aitor Karanka will be pleased with the start of his side Middlesbrough in their return back to the English Premier League football. They are unbeaten with a win and two draws from their three matches, confidence will be high when they welcome Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace on Saturday. New signings keeper Victor Valdes and midfielder Marten De Roon are expected to return on Saturday, but James Husband, George Friend, Fabio and Grant Leadbitter are all injured. Loaned Aston Villa winger Adama Traore could make his debut.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are yet to record a victory this season and it seems like they are yet to overturn the bad run of form that started in the beginning of calendar year 2016. The pressure is enormous on Alan Pardew and the players as they last win away from home can be dated back to December 2015. Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey is hoping to return on Saturday, as is Bakary Sako at the other end of the pitch. Though striker Fraizer Campbell and playmaker Yohann Cabaye remain sidelined.
