Steven Gerrard will sign for Los Angles Galaxy with transfer fee of £3.9million, according to reports of mirror.co.uk. It means Gerrard will now play for MLS club from next season for 18 months. The one time UEFA Champions League winner recently claimed that he will leave Liverpool at end of season.

The current captain of Liverpool joined the club in 2000 and spent fourteen loyal years. Reports from ESPN are that the former England skipper has already agreed to move to the California based football club.
During an interview with LFC TV, he revealed that while he was close to an agreement to move to America, but there are no confirmations so far. He said “I can tell the supporters at the moment that it will be America. I’ll going to play in America. But I’m not over the live with any team just yet.”
“I’m close and as soon as I know, I’ll make the announcement, I’ll do the bits and bobs that I need to do.”
Los Angles Galaxy recently won the Major League Soccer competition of 2014. Club’s naming forward Donovan also announced his retirement. This means LA Galaxy have plenty of space for Steven Gerrard to fit in.
Steven Gerrard spent his entire youth and senior career at Anfield, joining his boyhood team at the age of nine. He led his club to a Champions League title, UEFA Cup, two FA Cups, three league Cups, one Community Shield and two UEFA Super Cups. Gerrard also made 114 international appearances for his national team. Being a red, he played 695 games and scored 180 goals.
