Sergio Aguero, The Manchester City star forward and national team-mate of Lionel Messi has recently stated that he will convince Messi to join his club. The four times FIFA Ballon D’or winner has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou, and his fellow Argentina international would love him to join him in England at Premier League champions.
Although the 27 years old La Liga top goal scorer stated that he would love to retire at Barcelona, but his recent comments have since thrown that into doubt. The close friends of Argentina having played alongside each other on the international stage since youth level.
Earlier, Messi wanted Sergio Aguero to Barcelona football club, but Aguero is not interested in joining any club. After winning the football supporters Federation player of the year award, Aguero said he would love the Barcelona man to follow him to the Premier League.
The forward of Man City said “It is a tough ask. I’ll try and convince him. You want the best players to be playing in the Premier League. I’ll certainly try and convince him.”
Lionel Messi is reportedly unhappy at the lack of support he has had in his bid to win the Ballon d’or for a fifth time, with Real Madrid giving Messi’s rival Cristiano Ronaldo plenty of backing for the individual honour. Aguero himself admitted he would love for his fellow countryman to move to the Premier League, though he realizes it will be difficult to persuade him.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti also wants Lionel Messi to build the possible best Real Madrid squad. No further words have been spoken about transfer of Messi to Santiago Bernabeu.
The English club Man City is not only the single club which is indeed to sign the golden ball winner of 2014 FIFA World Cup. Chelsea football club also made a huge bid, but they are now out of the race of signing Lionel Messi.
