Pogba and new waves of criticism

This season isn’t so good for Man United midfielder. The 24 y.o. moved to Old Trafford in the summer for record £89m deal. That made him a most expensive player in football history.

He scored seven goals but some people expected much more of Pogba. However, as Paul says he isn’t a striker he is a midfielder and should focus on assists. “People are judging me for not scoring. Still, I’m doing my job on the pitch. Everyone sees only the mountain of the transfer. But I’m midfielder and my job to make assists”, says Pogba.

French footballer with his team should have played against Anderlecht on Thursday. But the match was rescheduled because of captain Wayne Rooney. His shape is in doubt after recently revealing ankle issues.

For Manchester the situation seems to be bad. The captain is in the bad state, growing rumors about Ibra’s leaving and Pogba is being exposed to huge criticism. That pressure affects players and their performance. We can only hope that all problems in Manchester will be gone for good.

Now Man United is 5th in Premier League. Tomorrow they will play in the Europa League quarter-final match v Anderlecht. Don’t miss!
