Manchester United vs Burnley English Premier League IST (Indian Time), EDT (USA Time), BST (British Time), GMT +0, Match Preview Live Stream and TV Telecast

Manchester United and Jose Mourinho have a lot of questions to answer after the ‘Special One’ was soundly beaten 4-0 by Chelsea on his return to Stamford Bridge since leaving in acrimonious circumstances last year. The manner of the defeat will have been a concern to fans who felt that the team were showing signs of heading in the right direction under Mourinho, and while fresh questions regarding his managerial ability may be premature, losing to a potential title rival has not gone down well. They will look to bounce back with a bang in their upcoming Premier League fixture against Burnley at Old Trafford, but while Betway consider the Red Devils as strong favourites to prevail, Manchester United will need to put in a professional performance in order to get past a plucky opponent who has managed to record wins against Liverpool and Everton this season. On the injury front, Eric Bailly has been ruled out for around two months after picking up a knee injury at Stamford Bridge, while Marouane Fellaini and Wayne Rooney may have to undergo late fitness tests in order to be available for selection in a game that Manchester United dare not lose.

What Sean Dyche’s side may lack in quality they more than make up for in work rate, determination and team spirit to fight for every point. They have made the best start from the three newly-promoted teams, although Burnley have picked up all of their points so far this season at Turf Moor. Three straight defeats away from home against Chelsea, Leicester and Southampton is no real disgrace, but while their fans can bet on them rising to the occasion with Betway and pull off a huge shock at Old Trafford, they will have to be at their resolute best to stand any chance of walking away from the red half of Manchester with all three points.

A number of their players, such as Michael Keane, Jeff Hendrick and George Boyd, have performed admirably during the opening weeks of the season, while Wales striker Sam Vokes has played well in place of Andre Gray who was hit with a four-match ban by the FA following comments made on social media a few years ago. Gray could return from suspension action against Manchester United, although Dyche has stated there is no guarantee that Burnley’s star will come straight back into the fold. As far as team news goes, Dyche may be without left-back Stephen Ward who picked up a knock in their recent win against Everton, while Burnley are less hopeful that Steven Defour and Boyd will recover from a hamstring and ankle injury respectively. Ashley Barnes is nearing a return to action after a long time on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, although the game at Old Trafford is likely to come too soon for the striker.
