Sergio Ramos: I played Poorly against Juventus
Sergio Ramos, who is known for making long range passes found difficulty in making short crosses against Juventus. Real Madrid’s defense was also not at its best that costed them second defeat of the Champions League. Ramos told to reporters
“It was a bid game in general, I played poorly, but this does not worry me. I trust coach Carlo Ancelotti and he trusts me.”
“There is still a second leg to go and we can turn the tie in our favour. In this position — midfield — we run more, but I will not highlight any individual error of anyone.”
“It won’t be hard at all to play better at the Santiago Bernabeu next Wednesday than we did today. I’m sure everything will change. Giving up is not my nature, it’s not philosophy and it’s not in DNA.”
He had tough game, probably the worst of his career but he is confident about making come back at Santiago Bernabeu next Wednesday. But before the return leg, Real Madrid have another crucial game in La Liga as they will welcome Valencia who already defeated them in first leg. Valencia ended Real Madrid’s 22 consecutive wins at Mestalla Stadium this year.
