Everton have managed to grasp Djibril Sidibe, the France defender on a season-long loan. The player has moved to the Toffees from Monaco.
There’s a possibility for Everton to extend their loan deal to a permanent one. So they can complete buying the player aged 27 at the end of the football season.
In the 2016–17 football season, playing for Monaco Djibril Sidibe managed to win the Ligue 1 title. What’s more, he played in Russian in 2018 with the French team that grabbed the World Cup.
Since his move from Lille to Monaco in 2016, the player shot up to six goals for 114 appearances for the club.
Moreover, Djibril Sidibe is expected to support the team’s right-back capability alongside Seamus Coleman, the Ireland international.
Marco Silva, the Everton told that it’s crucial for the club to have a variety of options in every position and Seamus and Djibril will ensure decent right-back potential for the team.
By the way, Djibril Sidibe turns out to be the club’s sixth signing of the summer following Moise Kean, Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Fabian Delph, and Andre Gomes.
