Chelsea FC are leading the race to sign Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha. According to reports from Daily Mail.
The former United player has turned down an improved offer of £125,000 a week deal in a bid to keep him at Selhurst Park. However, the Eagles are not ready to part ways with their talisman.
And now Premier League rivals Chelsea are willing to pay him considerably more to lure him to Stamford Bridge.
With the future of Eden Hazard and Willian still unresolved, the Blues are keen on securing Zaha’s services to cushion the effect of any late move.
Zaha’s stint at Old Trafford in 2013 was labeled a failure, and it is believed that he turned down a move to Everton because he wants to remain in London.
The Ivorian International helped Palace to avoid the drop after a disastrous start to the campaign, scoring nine goals and providing three assists for Roy Hodgson’s side in the process.
With few days left to the end of the transfer window, it’s left to be seen if Palace will fend off offers from the Premier League big boys to hold on to their prized asset.
