Man City made a £44m bid for Alexis Sanchez

Spanish news Don Balon reported that Manchester City is still hunting for Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez. And recently they’ve made a £44m bid which of course was denied.

Moreover, Real Madrid is monitoring the availability of 28-years-old player and very interested in his signing. Soon the Sanchez’s contract will be expired and still, he didn’t agree on any terms of extension. He missed the Community Shield match against Chelsea, the 4-3 game against Leicester and probably won’t be playing a Saturday’s clash vs Stoke.

Sanches returned to training, but Wenger thinks that it’s too early for him: “For Sanchez, it’s a little bit early but he works hard on the pitch”. Alexis has missed pre-season training due to his participation in the Confederations Cup. Later his returning was also delayed because of the ache.

Also, Wenger has agreed there are no promises about his future on Arsenal. And Man City or Real could use the opportunity to sign the player.
