It seems that Nicolo Rovella will get through big changes in the nearest future. Inter and Juventus are both interested in the Genoa starlet, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The 18-year-old player looks like a promising addition to both clubs.
Rovella’s deal with the Serie A side is due to expire at the end of this campaign, and Genoa want to avoid losing him for nothing. Therefore, they could put him on sale in the winter transfer window and try to get him back on loan for several seasons. This strategy isn’t new for the Italian side.
Genoa have used the same approach with Juventus and Inter for Cristian Romero and Eddie Salcedo respectively, so Rovella could be the next target. It is expected that the Rossoblu side will ask about €10 million for their young celebrity.
This season the Italian footballer has made just two appearances across all matches for Genoa. The midfielder has not scored any goals or provided any assists, but it is obvious that he has a bright future behind him.
