Head coach Mauricio Pochettino’s side is the only remaining undefeated team in the English Premier League after nine matchweeks this term. The team has settled for a draw in its last two matches following a four-game winning streak and is currently sitting at the fifth spot in the overall table. The Spurs were held to a goalless draw by contending Eddie Howe’s side Bournemouth on the road at the Vitality Stadium last Saturday. With that tie, Tottenham had missed the opportunity to take league leadership from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City even as they controlled 62 percent of the ball possessions throughout the match. As regards injury news, two main concerns for Spurs are Toby Alderweireld and Harry Kane who are sidelined for this fixture.

Meantime, defending Premier League Champions have been struggling in the tournament this term, but their last game was an amazing one. Leicester won Crystal Palace 3-1 at their home ground of King Power Stadium, prior to that, they defeated Copenhagen in UCL and are now on 2-game winning spell. They seem to be back on track, but they have a hard task against a strong Spurs squad who are yet to taste a loss in the league. As for the visiting team injury news, midfielder Andy King is doubtful for this match, whilst summer signing Nampalys Mendy remains out with an ankle injury.
