Real Madrid Vs Atletico Madrid Live Online Commentary

Head coach Zinedine Zidane rested his key players in the road match against the relegation-threatened Leganes in mid-week. Real Madrid took a comfortable 2-4 win with the hat-trick from the Spaniard striker Alvaro Morata who took the maximum advantage of the opportunity to start as the main forward up front. It was Real’s sixth successive win and they will come in the game with their city rivals in an excellent mood. As regards team news: the Frenchman Karim Benzema is likely to be preferred to Alvaro Morata, despite his hat-trick in that game. Ronaldo and Bale will also come in with Raphael Varane their only definite injury absentee.

On the other hand, Atletico have been enjoying a decent shape of their own. Diego Simeone’s men will also have UEFA Champions League legs to think about, but they will certainly give their best to prove they still have what it takes to stay competitive against the arch-rivals. Atleti have been solid at defence having conceded no more than a single goal in last six matches in all tournaments, but it will be very interesting to see if they will be able to keep this defensive shape against one of the strongest attacking lines in the world. Kevin Gameiro is doubtful so Fernando Torres looks likely to start up front.
