The interim boss of Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stated that Molde, the Norwegian club has sent him over to Old Trafford with their support and they have also asked him to try out his temporary stint there and convert to a permanent role.
Solskjaer, the former striker of United who had played under Alex Ferguson, the former manager is known to have revitalized the team from the time he replaced Jose Mourinho who had been dismissed from the post in December. He has sparked a 7 game unbeaten run in Premier League.
United had been eleven points off the top 4 when he had been appointed. However, they have narrowed down the gap to 5 points before they traveled to Leicester City on Sunday. This makes the Norwegian a pretty strong candidate who can be given the job on a permanent basis.
Solskjaer had been given on loan to Manchester United by Molde till the end of the season. He said that the owners of the Norwegian club, the businessman Bjorn Rune Gjelsten and Kjell Inge Rokke are going to support him if he had stayed at Manchester United.
He had told that when he gave a call to the owner and said that United had given him a call and he always knew that Solskjaer had this dream, so he said to him, enjoy yourself and do not come back from the team. Solskjaer said that both the owners have wished the best for him because he knew that it is something that he had always dreamt about.
