Real Madrid will play the very first game under the management of Zinedine Zidane against Deportivo La Coruna. It will be a home game for the new manager that will be played on 9th Jan 2016 at Santiago Bernabeu. For the first time in his football career, Zidane will manage a senior club and it is the club for which he was playing for. Earlier, Zidane was the assistant coach of Real Madrid when the club was being managed by Carlo Ancelotti. He was managing Real Madrid Castilla before taking responsibility of club manager. About one and a half year, he managed B team and this is the only experience of the Frenchman.
Real Madrid currently stands third in La Liga 2015–16 standings with 37 points, just one point more than Villarreal at fourth spot. Deportivo La Coruna are also playing decent football this season with 27 points in 18 games, maintained at seventh spot.
Los Blancos have been eliminated from the Spanish Super Cup for playing banned player Cheryshev. They are trailing by four points with Atletico Madrid in La Liga and qualified for the round of 16 of UEFA Champions League.
Zidane also revealed about playing positions of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema. He said the players will be allowed to play in the position where they wants to play.
