The Portuguese captain was highly linked with a move away from Real Madrid, but club president denied all rumors. He also backs manager Rafael Benitez after suffering two losses in La Liga. Perez denied the club are looking to sell Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer transfer window.

Few weeks ago, Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the most active player in upcoming winter transfer window. French club Paris Saint Germain was the most active club in signing the Real Madrid winger, but the Spanish club denied all news regarding his move away from club. It annoys me that journalists said I have been attending any lunch meetings to discuss Ronaldo’s sale.” “I have never dined with Paris Saint Germain’s president or [Ronaldo’s agent] Jorge Mendes to sell Ronaldo.
