The Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal warns neighboring rivals Man City ahead of next clash that is to be play on this Sunday. Van Gaal is pleased with current performance of red devils and stated that the Man United are now developed into a new team that he wanted build. His side had struggled very hard at the end of this season, but now everything is working according to his plan. Let’s read what the Dutch manager actually said about the upcoming Manchester Derby.
Van Gaal: City will face different Manchester United
After 3–1 win over Aston Villa, the manager said “It was another Manchester United [last November], I believe. That was more in the start of the process and now we are in the end of the process.”
“Now we have developed the team, I think also the confidence of our players is very high at the moment but also out performances show that, so it’s not the same Manchester United.”
“Of course it [confidence] plays a part in the spirit of the players. Now we are winning five games in a row so everybody has to wait for the right moment. This next game is the decisive game. It’s like the game against Liverpool and the game against Chelsea you have to win these kinds of matches.”
Van Gaal also speaks about the brilliant performance of Ander Herera who scored twice on Saturday. About Herera’s excellent play against Aston Villa, he told to reporters
“He can run box to box, he is more composed on the ball and he’s playing better. He has developed himself very good. He has developed and he scores goals, which is important, because when you can score seven goals and you don’t play regularly this season, then who can do it better as a midfielder player?”
The Manchester Derby will be held on 12th April 2015 at the home ground of Manchester United. City are one point behind the red devils which means there will be great encounter between the neighboring rivals for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
