Leicester City vs Liverpool 3-1: Great performance by Foxes

Leicester has shown a wonderful play after Claudio Ranieri’s dismissal. Jamie Vardy scored the first goal and then Danny Drinkwater performed incredible strike with superb technique. Finally, Vardy made glorious header which sealing the victory for the club. Now Leicester is celebrating and confidently moving out from a bottom of the Premier League.

It was an improved performance from Foxes under the supervision of Craig Shakespeare. The opening strike by Vardy was remarkable. But then Drinkwater secured his first goal in the campaign, what was truly amazing.

Then Christian Fuchs made a good cross which turned into a glancing header by Vardy. It’s was a confident victory despite a consolation point by Philippe Coutinho at 68th. For Leicester, it was first goals in Premier League in 2017.

Jamie Vardy is player of the match. He scored 8 goals in the season. If he stays in the current form, Leicester could easily secure top place in the league with few games to spare.

Craig Shakespeare: “They were up to fight last night. All my players are professionals and have a fire in the belly. They have some issues with the performance. But we ready to work on that”.

As for Liverpool, they are continuing to lose games. Now they have lost 5 of 7 past matches.
