Juventus won the Italian Cup, PSG won the French Cup

Andrea Pirlo won his second trophy as Juventus manager, winning the 2020/21 Italian Cup.

On May 19, the final match of the 2020/21 Italian Cup took place, in which Juventus beat Atalanta with a score of 2:1. Chiesa and Kulusevski scored for the “old signora”, Malinovsky scored for Atalanta.

Pirlo won his first trophy with Juve in a 2:0 win over Napoli in the Super Cup.

For Cristiano Ronaldo, winning the 2020/21 Cup was the fifth trophy in Italy. The Portuguese have not yet decided whether to stay in the team for next year. 

PSG at the Stade de France defeated Monaco (2:0) in the final match of the French Cup.

PSG won the French Cup for the second time in a row. In total, the Paris club became the owner of the trophy 14 times — this is a record figure. Monaco has five wins in the finals of the tournament.

Recall that PSG and Monaco retain their chances of winning Ligue 1. The Parisians lose to the leading Lille by one point, and Monegasque — three points for the round before the French Championship.
