Indian Super League 2015 Transfers, New Signings: The most awaited Indian Super League player auction took place on Friday, 10th July in which the leading footballer of the country go under the hammer in an effort by the eight franchises for ISL 2015. On Friday, Sunil Chhetri was the leading the roster of the players in the auction with an amount of Rs 1.20 crores. Mumbai City FC signed the Indian football team captain for their team. The ISL 2015 auctions featured the ten Indian national team players who didn’t play in the ISL season. Every player went under the hammer in their first ever ISL player auction. The total amount of Rs 7.22 crore were spent by the eight franchises for new signings. Look at the new signings of Indian Super League 2015.

Sunil Chettri Signed By Mumbai City FC

For the first time, the Indian football team captain will appear in ISL. The competition will begin from October and will run till the end of December this year. Same format will be used as used in first season.

Mumbai City FC spent the most money compared to other clubs. They spend 1.20 crore in the ISL auction and 1.29 crore in the ISL draft, total of 2.49 crore. Meanwhile, FC Pune City spend 1.50 crore in the ISL auction and 78 lakhs in the ISL draft, total amount of Rs 2.28 crore.

Indian national football team captain, Sunil Chhetri was the highlight of the ISL 2015 auction as he is signed at a cost of 1.20 crore by Mumbai City FC while Mizo footballer Engeneson Lyngdoh were the second highest signer of the auction with amount of Rs 1.05 crore by Pune City FC.
