England is out of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in the semifinal clash at the hands of Japan. Both teams were deserved to win the match but luckily Japan were the team who entered to the last stage of the competition. The worst 90th minute own goal of Laura Bassett put England out of the tournament. This was the first time England had ever reached to the semifinal and might be reached to final too but luck hadn’t on their way. England women’s produced their best performance in the competition and almost reached to their first World Cup final but injury time own goal conceded broke their dream. In the first half of the match, both teams scored one-one penalty goal each.
Miyama converted penalty for Japan in the 32nd Japan and just after 8 minutes F. Williams replied with penalty in the 40th minute. The second half of the match were goalless. The match were seeming to go to extra time but stoppage time own goal create the difference between two teams.
