Premier League based managers Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola were all included in the 2018 FIFA men’s coach of the year award list, with the final picks set to be known today.
The city of London will host the award ceremony slated for 24, September 2018.
The current holder of the award Zinedine Zidane was once again amongst the nominees after retaining the Champions League trophy.
The former Madrid supremo beat Antonio Conte and Max Allegri to the accolade last season. With only the Juve coach making it to the list this time.
However, three English-based coaches are in the selection: Man City’s Pep Guardiola, Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp, and Three Lion’s Gareth Southgate.
Pep Guardiola had an incredible season with the Cityzens the previous term by winning the League and Cup double and equally tumbled the Premier League records.
Klopp and his Red army set Europe alight with their brand of football that led them to the finals of the Champions League, albeit failing at the final hurdle.
Gareth Southgate masterminded England’s World Cup semi-final run for the first time in 28 years.
France’s coach Didier Deschamps and his Croatian counterpart Zlatko Dalic were all on the nominees’ list thanks to their brilliant outing at the World Cup.

There are eleven nominees for the 2018 prize:
