Hosts France defeated the world champions Germany by 2-0 at Stade de France. Giroud and Gignac were the goal scorers of the game. Giroud scored the opening goal of the match after being set up by Anthony Martial. Andre Pierre Gignac extended the lead and made it 2-0 in 86th minute. Defeating Germany with a clean sheet, France have claimed that they are going to make the Euro 2016 competition tougher than ever before. BBC Stated that “Three people were killed in an attack at the Stade de France with some reports suggesting a suicide blast. The deadliest attack appears to have targeted the Bataclan concert hall. The BBC’s Hugh Schofield says scores of ambulances have arrived at the scene, suggesting many victims inside.”

A photographer Ryu Voelkel told to Eurosport that “I heard two explosions from inside the stadium in the first half and then a third fainter one a few moments later. Everyone was moved to the pitch at full time. The atmosphere is quite calm but obviously only want to leave if it’s safe.”

Euro 2016 hosts France’s next game is scheduled to be play against England, but the it is believed that the game will be postponed.
