FIFA opened disciplinary proceedings against Dele Ali

FIFA has opened disciplinary proceedings after Tottenham player Delle Ali gestured his middle finger during Monday’s England – Slovakia match.

World cup qualifying game at Wembley has ended with 2-1 in favor of England. At first, everybody thought that Ali showed the gesture to judge. Then he explained it was just “a joke with a good friend” Kyle Walker.

Still, the incident was caught on camera and it made a noise in social. Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, Jamie Vardy and other said that Ali brandished at his England teammate and that behavior is quite common midst players.

But FIFA decided to open disciplinary proceedings and find out did he showed the gesture to the teammate or referee Clement Turpin. The incident took place in 77th after Alli was body-checked by defender from Fenerbahce Martin Skrtel. Then 23-years-old was substituted after talking with Turpin in the 93rd minute.

Also, Dele Ali has explained his behavior on Twitter. In turn, Kyle Walker made a hilarious post in social as a response.
