Ronald Koeman’s side started the season on a five-game undefeated streak to be among the top three teams of English Premier League. However, in their latest trip to Bournemouth Everton suffered their first defeat of the 2016–2017 English Top flight season. As a result, they went down from second spot in the table to fifth, just outside the Champions League zone. The last Sunday’s defeat was also their second loss in a row in competitive fixture, with the previous one coming against Norwich City in the EFL Cup third round fixture. Head coach Ronald Koeman will be looking for an instant bounce back when his side encounters Crystal Palace this Friday.

Meanwhile, Alan Pardew’s side have finally come to life after a terrible start to their new campaign. They started Premier League season with two consecutive losses and went on win-less in three matches after being held to a stalemate by Bournemouth in the gameweek 3. But they have steadied the ship and now three matches winning streak with Middlesbrough, Stoke City and Sunderland being their prey. Crystal Palace are currently 7th in the league table and they are just 3 point behind their Friday’s opponents Everton.

Everton Vs Crystal Palace: Head-to-Head Stats

Everton have won just one of their last six Premier League meetings with Crystal Palace (D3 L2) — winning 1–0 in January 2015 courtesy of a goal from Romelu Lukaku.

Belgian striker Christian Benteke has scored four and assisted one more in five Premier League matches against Everton.
