Clarence Seedorf, the ex-Netherlands midfielder isn’t a Cameroon coach anymore. He has been fired by the club after the team hasn’t managed to have their Africa Cup of Nations title defended.
The trainer aged 44 who appears to be the ex-Real Madrid was in charge of training the squad for less than a year.
In addition to this, his ex-Ajax and Netherlands colleague has been already fired too.
The recent Cameroon’s loss to Nigeria (3–2) in the match that occurred in Egypt had rather a dramatic impact on the country’s football, and in particular, on Clarence Seedorf. Cameroon’s sports minister ordered Seedorf to resign.
In return, Clarence Seedorf told that he’d be glad to go on and from his point of view his squad had demonstrated great performance giving a hope to the club’s faithful fans.
In 2018, the ex-AC Milan and Real Madrid player had a 4‑year agreement signed to become a trainer of the Indomitable Lions.
Kluivert and Seedorf have been assigned to have the Africa Cup of Nations retained.
