Barcelona seem to make long-term plans on Pedri. They are going to tie the young player to Camp Nou on a permanent basis, setting his release clause at an impressive €400 million.
Pedri moved from Las Palmas to the Catalan club over the summer, with Barca won the battle for the youngster, getting around Manchester City and Bayern Munich. The 17-year-old quickly branched out into a new team, earning the likes of Antoine Griezmann as well as Lionel Messi, and already making eight appearances for the club across the Champions League and La Liga.
Such an enormous release clause is intended to scare away all potential suitors that are interested in Pedri, and the young footballer will become a fixture in the La Liga squad.
One of the great advantages of Pedri is that he is versatile. He demonstrates good results on both wings and in an attacking midfield position. The Spaniard, however, says he feels more confident the closer he is to the opposition net.
