One of the most striking football transfers of this summer season has been recently carried out by Kieran Trippier. He has left Tottenham Hotspur for Atlético Madrid. The receiving club has shelled out up to $25m for the player. The full-back aged 28 is generally known for up to 100 appearances for the north London club having left Burnley. Now a three-year deal has been signed by him with Atlético Madrid. The sportsman actually questioned his future with Spurs because he’s dissatisfied with what Mauricio Pochettino is going to do with the squad. With England finishing fourth the previous summer at the Moscow World Cup, he had been one of the most productive players of the club. Despite the loss to Croatia in the semi-final, he managed to score early in that game. As a matter of fact, in the Spanish football club, Kieran Trippier is going to replace Juanfran, who was released in June. Earlier Atletico Madrid haven’t managed to have Nelson Semedo secured from Barcelona.
