Coach Arsene Wenger signed star striker of Barcelona Alexis Sanchez who was the first player joined Arsenal for new season. The amount of transfer fee was not disclosed by Barcelona, but it was guessed that the agreement was done with a transfer amount of 30 million pounds. It was the second largest signing of the Gunners after Mesut Ozil who signed for this club. The club announced that Mathieu Debuchy has joined Gunners from Newcastle United. Again the transfer fee was not disclosed thought to be around 12 million pounds. He became a direct replacement for the departing Bacary Sagna and in turn was the second signing of the summer transfer window for Arsenal.

Arsene Winger is again in charge of manager and he will be assisted by the assistant coach Steve Bould. The club has appointed two first team coaches in the names of Boro Primorac and Neil Banfield. Puma is the kit supplier of Arsenal football club. The company have launched new kits for new season. They played wearing this kit against final match of FA Community Shield. Fly Emirates is the Sponsor of the club. Manager Wenger is looking to use 3–5‑2 formation for new seasons, but there are no confirmation about this formation.
