Man United striker and Bournemouth defender were charged by Football Association after several incidents during Saturday match. First, the pair clashed before half-time and Ibrahimovic threw Mings to the floor. Then he unintentionally elbowed him in the face. However, a referee didn’t dismiss them both during the game.
Still FA official considered these incidents as violations. Now Ibrahimovic and Mings have to reply to their charges until 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
Ibrahimovic told he’s not the player who attacks someone off the field. And Mings said he hadn’t deliberately stamped with Ibrahimovic. Punishment not determined yet. But it really could be three-match ban for Manchester player. And Mings might face an extended suspension if the accusation will be upheld.
