Zinedine Zidane, the former coach of Real Madrid has revealed the formation of his dream squad. It is made up of ex-teammates and many football greats. Lionel Messi has been able to make the cut but Cristiano Ronaldo failed to do so.
Zinedine Zidane had been asked to say the names of his favorite eleven of all time by some news portal of China. However, he chose 17 players rather than 11. In the midfield, he went for Luka Modric along with his own self. He also chose Andres Iniesta and Claude Makelele, the former France teammate.
However, at the back, Zidane was unable to make up his mind. Eventually, he went for 9 defenders. He chose Cafu and Dani Alves at the right back, Roberto Carlos, Marcelo, and Paolo Maldini had been chosen for the left-back position. Also, Zidane named 4 center backs named Sergio Ramos, Laurent Blanc, Carlos Mozer, and Karlheinz Forster. He chose his another squad-mate from France team which had defeated Brazil in the World Cup of 1998, Fabien Barthez as the goalkeeper of the team.
