Gunners haven’t shown a good performance yesterday at White Hart Lane and lost the match against their North London rivals. The score 2-0 leaves no hope for Arsenal to take top-four place.

During the after-match interview, Wenger seemed frustrated and tried to finish with all questions as soon as possible. Still, he found the time to accept that opposite team was better and deserved the win: “They deserved it. It was the even game until the first goal. But the penalty strongly affected to the result and nothing can be done with 2-0”.

“After we conceded the penalty Spurs looked more dangerous and they were comfortable with 2 goals until the very end. Our game was too restricted. And Tottenham were physically sharper than we. We had a huge desire, but lacked some confidence today”, added Arsenal’s manager.

The defeat means that Gunners will take a lower place than Tottenham in the season. Their next chance to hit back will be against Manchester United on Sunday. Don’t miss at Footballwood.
