Chilean International Arturo Vidal is set to sign for Barcelona after agreeing on personal terms in a deal that is worth £27million.
Vidal, who possesses a wealth of experience of playing in the Champions League, is set to undergo a medical at Barcelona with Bayern having given him permission to leave, as reported by The Guardian.
The 31-year-old is set to become the latest arrival at the Nou Camp this summer, following the footsteps of Malcom, Arthur, and Clement Lenglet who recently joined the club.
The Chilean International trained with his Bayern Munich team-mates on Thursday for what could be the last time before moving to the Catalans.
The La Liga Champions are trying to bolster their squad considerably as they seek to challenge on all fronts in the new season and Vidal, who has a century of caps for Chile, seems a perfect option to strengthen their squad.
With Arthur arriving and Andres Iniesta having left, while Paulinho has gone on loan, it seems set to be a new look midfield for Barcelona this season if the Vidal deal materializes.
