Valencia Vs Real Madrid Live Online Commentary

With three winless performances in their last four matches the home team Valencia has continued to struggle in their Spanish top flight campaign this term. Valencia is currently occupying 15th place of the league standings, just seven points above the drop area. In their most recent La Liga fixture last Sunday, Los Che was able to halt a three-game winless slide by pulling off a 2–0 upset victory over contending squad Athletic Bilbao also at the Mestalla Stadium. Nani scored the debut goal for head coach Voro Gonzalez’s side in the 13th minute of the game with a left-footed shot from the center of the box off a pass by Fabian Orellana with a through ball. Valencia then doubled their lead one minute into the first half injury time with another left-footer, this time by Italian striker Simone Zaza with the assist coming from Munir El-Haddadi. On the other hand, Zinedine Zidane’s men are also coming off a 2–0 victory over Espanyol at their home turf of Santiago Bernabéu Stadium last Saturday. Young forward Alvaro Morata started as the center-forward in Real Madrid’s 4–3‑3 formation and headed the first goal of the match in the 33rd minute from a cross by Isco. Then Gareth Bale, who is finally returning from an injury after 88 days of being sidelined, substituted for Morata in the 71st minute and doubled Los Blancos’ lead in the 83rd with a stunning strike with the assist again coming from Isco. With that victory, Los Blancos remained at the summit of the La Liga table and is still one point ahead of the second-running team and reigning champions FC Barcelona.
