The UEFA Champions League have completed four match days of 2014–15 season. Fourth match day comes to an end & some European giants have qualified for the round of 16. After Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund other teams Bayern Munchen, Barcelona, Paris Saint Germain and FC Porto have qualified for the next round. Champions League 2014–15 Match Day 4 Results & Reports
On Tuesday night, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid got ticket of pre quarter finals. The vikings continued their winning run with 1–0 victory over Liverpool football club at Santiago Bernabeu. Winning goal from Karim Benzema took Los Blancos into the round of last 16. Dortmund welcomed Galatasaray at Signal Iduna Park where they dominated them by 4–1. For BVB, Marco Reus scored the opening goal in 39th minute. Thereafter Papastathopulos, Immobile and Semith Kaya netted each. Hakan Balta was the only goal scorer of Galatasaray at Signal Iduna Park. Once again, vice champions of the UEFA Champions League Atletico Madrid made it to the round of 16 defeating Malmo by 2–0. Koke and Raul Garcia were the goal scorers of Atletico Madrid. It was third consecutive victory of Los Indios in Group A of this campaign. They will now face Olympiacos on 26th November 2014. The Bavarians showed no mercy after 7–0 victory against AS Roma. They continued their winning run with another clean sheet win over the Italian giants. Francis forward Franck Ribery and the World Cup final match goal scorer Mario Gotze puts Bayern Munich into the pre quarter finals. With stumbling start at the beginning of season, Football Club Barcelona made another win in group stage round. 2 goals from Lionel Messi assists Barcelona to qualify for the next round. Also, with these two goals, Messi have equalized total goals tally with former Real Madrid forward Raul in UEFA Champions League history. We have one more team that qualified for round of 16 in the form of Shakhtar Donetsk. This could probably the best ever performance of Donetsk in this competition.
