Twitter Reaction on Hernandez’s Goal Celebration
Henry said “At that particular moment, he [Cristiano Ronaldo] couldn’t shoot, so he didn’t take the risk of doing something stupid and silly with it. He saw a guy in a better position, which Chicharito was, and he gave him the ball.”
“What I don’t like is Chicharito seems like he’s won the World Cup with that. It’s a tap-in. Turn around and celebrate with Ronaldo. Even the camera knew — the camera is on Ronaldo for a reason.”
“I think the pressure went through him. He knew he had to perform today and he had a couple of chances to do it. If Ronaldo done that I would have said the same thing. You have to pass the ball, but it’s still a tap-in and you have to say thank you.”

Henry’s views bizarre. Not sure what he’s trying to say about Hernandez celebration. He never missed an opportunity for an ego celebration — Roberto Kusabbi (@RKTweets) April 22, 2015
It was his goal, not Ronaldo’s. And in terms of criticising the celebration, Henry should know better as he was a striker too — LVG’s Dodgy Nose (@ooochocolateman) April 22, 2015
Ronaldo is unbearable. His ‘all about me’ persona is as strong as ever. His celebration for the goal he assisted was embarrassing. — Bleed Liverpool Red (@joshsawyer) April 22, 2015

That celebration showed the faction in the Real Madrid team. James loves Ronaldo. Rest are like fuck off you prick. — Sychlops (@Sychlops) April 22, 2015

Was Chicharito’s celebration awful? Well it was first ever Champions League goal of the Mexican and it came against the very best time that helped Real Madrid to qualify into Semis. The forgotten Chicharito took place of Karim Benzema because of his injury and did his role pretty well. Maybe this is the reason why he celebrated in that way.
