Christian Eriksen is going through tough times right now, as Tottenham don’t want to have him in the squad anymore. According to reports, head coach Jose Mourinho doesn’t plan to re-sign the Danish footballer in the winter transfer window. Eriksen’s move to Inter Milan has not worked out, and the management believes that he should leave in January. However, a romantic comeback to Spurs is not an option for the attacking midfielder. The Arsenal boss has made it clear that he has no free places amid strong competition in his current midfield. The 28-year-old player joined Inter for £16.9 million in January after confirming he would not sign the contract extension at Tottenham. Unfortunately, he hasn’t made the impact that Antonio Conte had hoped in Italy. The Dane made just nine appearances this campaign but failed to score or assist. That’s why it seems he needs to look for a new destination. However, several football giants, including Arsenal are interested in the midfielder, so his future looks bright.
