Spalleti fined €10,000 for insulting an official

Inter Milan Coach Luciano Spalletti has been given a fine of €10,000 after he insulted referee Maurizio Mariani following the defeat to Sassuolo.

According to Football Italia, Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalletti will pay a fine of €10,000 for his conducts after his side lost on Sunday.

Inter Milan lost 1-0 at the Mapei Stadium. It was the fourth match in a row that they’ve lost to Sassuolo.

The Lega Serie A found that Spalletti spoke “gravely offensive” words to the referee after the match, he’s been fined €10,000 and given an official warning.

Match conduct seems to be an issue in the Italian Seria A.

Torino boss, Walter Mazzarri was given a warning for encroaching on the pitch in the loss to Roma.

Udinese have been fined €4,000 after throwing a flare on to the pitch in their draw 2-2 draw with Parma, while Parma was fined €2,000 after fireworks were set off in the home end.

Napoli were also fined €2,500 because fans let off flares in their own section.
