Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has plans to unleash the pace of Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, and Jesse Lingard. He has said that the attacking philosophy has always been in the walls of Manchester United. Thus, he intends on making his side play in that manner.
The treble winner of 1999 has taken charge of the first on Saturday. He led his side to a victory with 5-1. Manchester United being under Jose Mourinho had often been guilty of taking a back seat and playing a defensive game. Sometimes, the crowd of Old Trafford would chant away to attack during the game.
However, now, Solskjaer is in charge of United and it seems that the fans might get what they have been looking for a long time. He said that the players haven’t said anything to him about a handbrake. However, they have spoken in the team meeting regarding the fact that when they won, they would like to get two. And when they have two, they would like having three.
He stated that it is not always going to be like it did at Cardiff but you need to give it a try, develop changes, and make the most of it but this worked. They have up front with a blistering pace and he feels that any team would like having Pogba, Martial, Rashford, and Lingard in their team. Hence, there is no need to stop them. The attack is in the philosophy of Man United, it is the tradition and that is how they would like to play.
