Brazil completed their World cup preparations with a comfortable 3-0 victory against Austria in Vienna.
Tite’s men were in scintillating form as they put the finishing touches to their brilliant Russia 2018 preparations despite the sweltering conditions in Vienna. Manchester City’s striker opened the scoring with an exquisite chip in the 36th minute of the game following a significant spell of the possession.
Neymar who started a game for the first since February when he sustained an injury against Real Madrid in the Champions League, added to the tally with a beautiful strike in the 63rd minute of the game. The former Barcelona forward dribbled past Leceister’s Alexander Dragovic before coolly slotting home the ball between goalkeeper Linder’s legs.
In the 69th minute, the Brazilians were too hot to handle as substitute Roberto Firmino combined with former Liverpool team-mate Philippe Coutinho who curled home the third goal to complete the rout.
The Samba boys are heavily tipped to win the World Cup for the sixth time in Russia and it will be difficult to bet against Tite’s men considering their level of preparation and star players in the squad.
The five-time World Cup winners will start their campaign against Switzerland on June 17 before facing Serbia and in the other group games
