Real Madrid drew with Chelsea in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final. The match ended with a score of 1:1.

The Londoners opened the scoring early in the first half when striker Christian Pulisic scored. This ball allowed him to become the most productive player from the United States in the Champions League history.

Midway through the first half, the score was equalized by striker Karim Benzema. The 33-year-old Frenchman has now scored 71 goals in Europe’s most prestigious tournament. He caught up with the number of goals in the tournament of the former striker of the Spanish club Raul and shares with him the fourth place in the list of top scorers.
