Paris Saint-Germain are still interested in bringing Bayern Munich’s Jerome Boateng to Parc des Princes according to latest reports from German media
Reports are rife in the German press that the player’s potential €50million switch from Munich to Paris is a matter of when and not if, and the deal could be finalized in the next coming days.
The German Champions are keen to sell Boateng for the right price as they see Niklas Sule as a worthy replacement but club manager Niko Kovac is a huge admirer of the player and expressed his desire to keep hold of all his players.
Despite all the rumours surrounding his future, Kovac has come out to say the defender is fit and available for the German Super Cup against Frankfurt this weekend.
Boateng was a part of Germany’s disappointing outing at the summer World Cup in Russia, picking up a red card in his country’s sole victory in the competition which came against Sweden.
United were also in the running to sign the defender but it seems the Parisians will snap up the former Manchester City center-back.
